On the Way
Whether you’ve just started exploring Christianity or you’ve been a believer for years, On the Way is our programme for helping us connect with God, connect with each other and connect with God's world. Each term there will be a different course or teaching focus.

Exploring Faith
What’s life all about?
We have a number of relaxed and popular opportunities for people to explore how the Christian faith connects with the big questions of life, including Alpha, Christianity Explored and others. What have you got to lose?

J7 Kidz
Our Sunday morning children’s ministry, J7 Kidz, meets as part of our 10am service. We have a group for 3-7s and a group for 8-11s. It seeks to help children live with Jesus as their friend and king seven days a week. And they have a lot of fun along the way!

Rooted

Powerhouse
We seek to place prayer at the heart of our life as a church in different ways, but Powerhouse is a weekly time of prayer on Monday morning where we gather in our weakness and seek God’s strength — asking Him to revive our hearts, church, and land. Pastries & coffee are served from 10.45am, with prayer from 11-12noon.

St Pauls Youth
A fun and welcoming midweek group for young people in Years 7–9, meeting Mondays 6.30–8 pm. We hang out, explore faith, and grow together in friendship and life.

HOT CHOC MONDAYS
It’s Monday, but it’s gonna be okay! A friendly space for families to grab a free hot chocolate after school, connect with others, and start the week with a smile.

Vintage Thursdays
A special monthly afternoon for those in later life, with crafts, conversation, cake and a thought for the day. All welcome.

Open the Book
Part of a national network, our fab and in-demand Open the Book team goes into local primary schools and shares Bible stories as part of assemblies in a fun and dynamic way. Fancy joining them?

Firepit
Firepit rotates around different churches in Barrow on the fourth Sunday of the month as together we kindle a deeper passion for lives of mission and worship.

Happy Tots
We enjoy a good relationship with our local Nursery, Happy Tots, who regularly visit us at St Paul’s for special story time and singing sessions with our team.

St Paul’s School
We love our local Junior school, just a short walk from the church, which is recognised by Ofsted as ‘an absolute asset to the community’. The school attend church for monthly collective worship and we connect throughout the year too.

School Visits
We love having visits to church from local schools as part of their RE curriculum - and we love developing these relationships. Get in touch if you’d like to explore visiting church with your school.

Marriage Preparation
Getting married or recently married? Why not take the time to invest in your marriage by being part of our Marriage Preparation sessions. Relaxed, practical and fun - get in touch to find out more.

Anna Chaplaincy
Named after the woman, Anna, in Luke’s gospel who shows her faith in later life, Anna Chaplaincy is all about offering spiritual care in later life. Our ‘Anna Friend’, Julie Jones, is commissioned to help us serve this age group.

Furness Homeless Support Group
FHSG serve our town by offering supported accommodation to single homeless people. We particularly support FHSG by collecting non-perishable food items and toiletries through the year and at Harvest.

Buildings Hire
Our recently developed church buildings are available for hire, either for one-off or regular use. We have a welcoming lounge space, flexible side rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious main church all available.
