We all long for connection.

Maybe you’re new to Christianity and church but would like to connect with others and grow in your faith?

Maybe you've been part of a ‘small group’ at a church before (whether you called it a 'home group’ or 'Bible-study group’ or something else)?

Being part of a Connect Group is a way to help you get to know others deeper, grow in your relationship with God, and serve others with your gifts. Most Connect Groups have a get together every fortnight. Some meet in a midweek evening, whereas others meet during the day or on a weekend. Some meet in homes and some meet in our church lounge.

Why we have Connect Groups.

Connect Groups share three aims:

  1. to help us connect with God (through Bible and prayer time)
  2. to help us connect with each other (through deepening relationships with a particular group of people)
  3. to help us connect with our world (by supporting each other as we live out our faith in the places & relationships God has put us)

One, Two, Three, Go!

Once a month we also have a church-wide Prayer Meeting that we encourage all groups to be part of if they’re able. We also take one week in the month, ‘Go!’, where Connect Groups don’t meet as normal, and instead we encourage people to intentionally do something with friends and family outside church, perhaps as a group or perhaps as individuals or in twos and threes.

If you'd like to explore being part of a Connect Group, please get in touch with us or speak to one of the leadership team on a Sunday to find out what group would suit you best.
